Want to avoid walking straight into a rainstorm? Check our rain radar and rain graph before you step out, and you'll never have to get drenched again!

The Buienradar app kicks off with either a 3-hour or a 24-hour rain radar forecast. The rain radar image will clearly show you whether rain is on its way in the coming hours or even the next day. Below the radar, you'll find the rain graph. This graph provides a detailed breakdown of when it's going to rain and the expected amount of rainfall in millimeters. For a more detailed view of your city or town, simply tap the magnifying glass icon to zoom in.

The Buienradar app is compatible with your Android phone and tablet. With the handy widget that includes the rain graph, you can check for expected rain without even opening the app!

Moreover, the Buienradar Wear OS app is back! It lets you view the rain radar, rain graph, and the forecast for the coming hour. In the coming months, we'll be adding more features. Please note that the Buienradar Watch App is exclusively available on the Google Play Store and supports only wearables running Android Wear OS.

You can find personalized weather info in the "Komende uren in" table (Next 8 hours weather prediction) for your favorite location, even abroad. This includes hour-to-hour predictions for temperature, feeling temperature, rainfall in millimeters per hour, the chance of rain, and wind force in Beaufort.

In addition to thunderstorm, snow, sun, wind, and temperature maps, we provide data on wind chill, ground temperature, sun intensity, air pressure, gusts, visibility, and humidity, along with the exact times of sunrise and sunset for your location.

We also offer seasonal radar maps. In summer, use our pollen and mosquito radars for timely notifications to hang up your mosquito net. In winter, our snow radar informs you about winter precipitation, and our ground temperature map warns you about night frost.

In the "14-daagse" tab (14-day forecast), you'll find a graphical weather forecast for the next 14 days. Click on the "Lijst" tab for a detailed list view, which offers an hourly forecast for the next 7 days and a daily average for the second week.

In the "Meldingen" tab, you can set up your own rain alert (free push notification) tailored to your daily schedule and favorite locations, ensuring you're never caught off guard by rain or a storm.

If you prefer an ad-free experience, consider our Buienradar Premium plan for €4,99, which you can easily find in "Instellingen" ("Settings") and then select "Neem Buienradar Premium" (Get Buienradar Premium).
