Game Modes

Hide Mode: The player to the dealer's right selects a card and places it face down on the table. This card determines the trump suit for the round.

Cut Mode: The game starts without a declared trump suit. If a player cannot follow suit, the card they play becomes the trump for the deal.

Once the trump suit is established, the highest card of that suit wins the trick. If no trump cards are played, the highest card of the led suit takes the trick. The winner of each trick leads the next one, and captured tricks are kept in a face-down pile.

Victory is achieved when a team captures three or four of the Tens. Capturing all four Tens results in a "Mendicot," marking a significant achievement in the game.
