Many team members hail from Rebel Act Studios, creators of the legendary Severance: Blade of Darkness. Released in 2001, Severance's groundbreaking limb-severing combat system, a brutal yet realistic approach to gameplay, served as a major inspiration for Blades of Fire.

But Blades of Fire isn't just a nostalgic throwback. The team also drew inspiration from modern action-adventure giants, particularly the cinematic combat and richly detailed world of Santa Monica Studio's God of War reboot. This blend of influences fuels Blades of Fire's fast-paced action and engaging RPG elements, promising a truly immersive experience.

A key feature of Blades of Fire is its innovative weapon crafting system. Players forge their own blades, meticulously customizing length, weight, durability, and balance to perfectly match their fighting style.
