Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Simplifies Camo Challenge Tracking

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 launched today, introducing a game-changing feature: Camo Challenge Tracking. This streamlined system significantly eases the progression grind towards coveted camos like Dark Matter and Nebula.

This new feature allows players to manually track up to 10 camo and 10 calling card challenges simultaneously. Instead of constantly checking the main menu, progress is readily accessible during gameplay. The tracker also proactively notifies players of near-completion for any challenge, even those not actively tracked.

Tracking Challenges:

To track a camo or calling card challenge, navigate to the desired challenge and press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation) to add it to the tracker. This allows for real-time progress monitoring during matches.

The game intelligently auto-populates the tracker with challenges nearing completion, even if not manually selected. This information is also conveniently displayed in the Daily Challenges section of the Black Ops 6 lobby.

Improved Camo Unlocking:

Season 2 also simplifies special camo unlocking. Previously requiring nine preceding military camos, now only five are needed. However, two special camos remain a prerequisite for mastery camos.

This update directly addresses player feedback regarding the overwhelming number of camos and the difficulty of tracking progress. Treyarch has clearly listened, making camo acquisition and utilization more enjoyable.
