Adjusting Your Palico's Voice in Monster Hunter Wilds

Nothing's more unsettling than a cat companion speaking human languages, right? Fortunately, Monster Hunter Wilds offers a simple solution. Here's how to change your Palico's vocalizations.

Palico Language Settings

There are two methods to modify your Palico's language: via in-game settings or the character creator.

Method 1: Game Settings

Access the in-game menu by pressing the Options button.
Navigate to "Game Settings," then select the "Audio" tab.
Locate the "Palico Language" option.
Choose between "Felyne Language" (meows and purrs with subtitles) or "Set Voice Type" (your game's language).

Method 2: Character Creator

Access your tent and open the character creator menu.
While customizing your Palico's appearance, you can also select its language preference. You can also adjust its vocal pitch and tone here.

This setting doesn't impact gameplay; choose whichever suits your preference. While "Felyne Language" adds immersion, "Set Voice Type" provides convenience, especially during combat. The choice is yours!
