Artian weapons represent a significant late-game addition to Monster Hunter: World, offering unparalleled customization in terms of stats and elemental properties. This guide details the process of unlocking and crafting these powerful weapons.

Unlocking Artian Weapon Crafting:

To unlock Artian weapon crafting, you must first complete the main story, reach High Rank, and defeat your first Tempered monster. This will trigger a conversation with Gemma, initiating the Artian weapon tutorial.

Crafting Artian Weapons:

Each weapon type requires three components. These components have rarity, element type, and an Artian bonus (attack or affinity boost). Crucially:

• Components must share the same rarity to be used together.
• The weapon's elemental effect is determined by the most prevalent element among the components. (e.g., two water, one lightning = water weapon; three different elements = no elemental effect).

Acquiring Artian Materials:

Artian materials are obtained by hunting Tempered monsters in High Rank. These monsters are marked with a blue outline on the map. After defeating or capturing a Tempered monster, Artian parts will appear among your post-mission rewards. Rarity increases with your hunter rank. While there's no direct correlation between the hunted monster and the type of Artian parts dropped, hunt monsters you enjoy or need materials from for other equipment. Keep farming Tempered monsters to collect the components you need.
