How to Cure Food Poisoning in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, food poisoning is a serious threat. This guide explains how to cure it and prevent future occurrences.

Curing Food Poisoning

The only cure for food poisoning is a digestive potion. These can be purchased from most apothecaries (Troskowitz, Trosky Castle, and the Nomads’ Camp are reliable locations). Alternatively, acquire the recipe and brew your own. This is a more cost-effective long-term solution.

Brewing a Digestive Potion:

The recipe requires: two thistles, two nettles, water, and one charcoal. The brewing process is as follows:

  1. Boil the thistles in water for two turns.
  2. Grind the nettles and add them to the cauldron, boiling for one turn.
  3. Grind the charcoal and add it to the cauldron.
  4. Pour the resulting potion.

Note: Bozhena's hut offers a peaceful alchemy station; using others may anger shopkeepers.

Preventing Food Poisoning

To avoid food poisoning, only consume fresh food. Check the "Freshness" meter in your inventory; red indicates a risk of food poisoning. Only eat food with a white "Freshness" indicator. Consider perks that slow food spoilage, or preserve food through cooking or drying.
