Days Gone Remasered Revealed with April 2025 Release Date

Days Gone Remastered roars onto PlayStation 5, boasting a suite of exciting new features. Announced during Sony's February 2025 State of Play, this enhanced edition delivers a significantly upgraded experience for PS5 and PS5 Pro users.

Key additions include thrilling new game modes: a challenging permadeath mode, a time-trial speedrun mode, and Horde Assault, an arcade-style mode featuring exponentially larger Freaker hordes. The update also includes a refined photo mode and expanded accessibility options. Visual enhancements leverage VRR and PS5 Pro capabilities, promising stunning visuals in both Performance and Quality modes. PS5 Pro players will also experience enhanced audio and DualSense controller features, including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

Available April 25th, 2025, Days Gone Remastered is priced at $49.99. Existing PS4 owners can upgrade for just $10. Pre-orders begin tomorrow, granting early access to eight PSN avatars and five in-game bonuses.

This PS5 release continues Sony's initiative to bring enhanced versions of popular PS4 titles to its next-gen console. It joins other upgraded releases such as The Last of Us Part I and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered.

PC players aren't left out. The $10 Broken Roads DLC for the PC version will unlock the new game modes, enhanced photo mode, DualSense support (where applicable), and the accessibility features.
