The Fantastic Four have arrived, bringing four new heroes to shake up the meta! This season kicks off with the addition of Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman, with Thing and Human Torch slated for later release. Let's dive into the details of these exciting new additions.

Who Are the New Heroes?

Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are the first two of the Fantastic Four to join the roster. Thing (tank) and Human Torch (duelist) will round out the team later, also forming a powerful Team-Up Fantastic Four. This Team-Up enhances Invisible Woman's healing capabilities, while Mister Fantastic gains a rapid health regeneration ability.

Invisible Woman: A Versatile Support

With relatively few support characters currently in the game, Invisible Woman offers a welcome addition for support-focused players.

Her attacks pierce through multiple enemies, damaging opponents while simultaneously healing allies – highly effective in crowded combat situations. However, her limited range necessitates close proximity to teammates.

Invisible Woman's invisibility mechanic requires six seconds of inactivity, making it situational. However, she heals while invisible. A more practical invisibility tactic involves her double jump, providing a crucial escape mechanism during perilous encounters.

Her right-click ability deploys a fragile shield in front of an ally, best used for protecting duelists and strategically repositioned to shield injured teammates, providing area healing.

She can also attract and repel opponents. Repelling serves primarily as a defensive maneuver, while attracting helps allies close in for attacks. A projectile sphere pulls enemies into a damaging area, ideal for controlling chokepoints and dealing AoE damage.

While a three-hit melee combo pushes enemies away, it's generally less effective than her repelling ability or double jump escape.

Her ultimate creates a healing and invisibility zone for the team, but its stationary nature leaves it vulnerable to area-of-effect attacks.

Invisible Woman provides a well-balanced support option, offering tactical flexibility and valuable team support, though not quite surpassing top-tier supports like Luna Snow and Mantis.

Mister Fantastic: A Unique Blend of Duelist and Tank

Mister Fantastic offers a unique and entertaining playstyle, leveraging his elastic abilities.

His medium-range attacks can hit multiple targets if aimed correctly. His abilities and attacks fill a meter, triggering an inflated form with increased damage and durability.

His "Shift" ability allows him to absorb damage for a short period, then unleashing it in a powerful burst.

He can attract characters, gaining a temporary shield for himself or dealing damage to opponents. This offers both battlefield mobility and survivability.

His right-click immobilizes opponents, allowing for follow-up attacks or throws.

His ultimate ability is an area-of-effect attack that slows opponents and repeats if at least one target is hit, resembling Bucky's ultimate but often less effective.

Mister Fantastic occupies a unique space between a duelist and a tank, offering considerable power but not quite reaching the top tier.

Both heroes offer fresh and unique gameplay experiences, showcasing the developers' commitment to diverse character design. We eagerly anticipate the arrival of Thing and Human Torch!
