SteamDB data reveals a peak player count exceeding 197,000 users—the highest ever recorded for a paid EA game on the platform. This significantly outperforms Battlefield V, the previous record holder with a peak of 116,000 players. While EA's free-to-play Apex Legends remains the most popular, with over 620,000 peak players, Split Fiction's achievement is remarkable within the paid game segment.
