Fortnite players eager to continue the Outlaws Story Quests are facing a unique challenge: a Community Quest to obtain the Outlaw Keycard, a new gameplay element. This guide explains how to participate in this community effort by robbing Vaults and Cases.

The mid-season update for Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2, introduces the Outlaw Keycard challenge tab alongside the Outlaw Midas skin. This new tab hints at increasing keycard rarity unlocking new areas and features in Battle Royale as quests are completed, but offers limited details, leaving players wondering how to progress.

The process involves participating in Battle Royale matches and robbing Vaults and Cases, essentially plundering Fletcher Kane's loot. Similar to past collaborative events like the Doctor Doom boss fight, this quest requires community participation. Unlike the Doctor Doom event, however, progress seems slower, as individual efforts to rob Vaults immediately after landing don't significantly impact the overall community progress bar.

Further evidence of the quest's scale is the two-week delay until the next set of Fortnite Outlaw Quests (March 25th). This suggests Epic Games anticipates the community quest will take at least a week to complete. While this may be frustrating for some, players can still enjoy the currently available Golden Gunslinger Quests.
