One More Level, the studio behind the acclaimed Ghostrunner series, is renowned for its fast-paced, brutal action games set in cyberpunk worlds. Ghostrunner's success, boasting average critic and player scores of 81% and 79% respectively for the first installment and 80% and 76% for the sequel, hinges on strategic planning, nimble reflexes, and precise execution. One-hit kills are the norm, but the protagonist's vulnerability necessitates equally precise defensive maneuvers.

Today, One More Level revealed a new image hinting at their next project. Currently developing Cyber Slash and Project Swift, the image strongly suggests a focus on Cyber Slash, given Project Swift's 2028 release date.

Set in the first half of the 19th century, Cyber Slash offers a dark, alternate history reimagining of the Napoleonic era. Players will encounter legendary heroes battling unknown forces and confronting terrifying threats in this epic, gritty adventure.

Gameplay promises a challenging and action-packed experience, diverging from traditional Souls-like mechanics. While parrying and exploiting enemy weaknesses remain crucial, the protagonist will undergo transformative mutations throughout the game, adding a unique layer to the combat.
