Marvel Rivals Leak Suggests a PvE Mode Could Be Coming

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Dracula, Fantastic Four, and Hints of PvE

Recent leaks suggest exciting developments for Marvel Rivals, NetEase Games' popular hero shooter. Season 1, "Eternal Night Falls," launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, promises significant additions. The official trailer confirms Dracula as the season's primary antagonist and the highly anticipated arrival of the Fantastic Four to the game's roster. A new, darkly stylized New York City map is also rumored.

A prominent leaker, RivalsLeaks, has ignited speculation about a potential PvE (Player vs. Environment) mode currently in development. Their source allegedly played a PvE mode earlier, and corroborating evidence, a related tag, was reportedly discovered by another leaker, RivalsInfo, within the game's files. However, RivalsLeaks acknowledges the possibility of cancellation or postponement. Adding to the excitement, another leak hints at a Capture the Flag mode also in the works, suggesting NetEase's ambitious expansion plans for Marvel Rivals.

Further fueling the rumor mill, RivalsLeaks claims the villain Ultron has been delayed until Season 2. Despite a recent leak detailing Ultron's abilities (a Strategist utilizing drones for both healing and damage), his inclusion in Season 1 seems unlikely given the four new characters already confirmed.

The delay of Ultron hasn't dampened fan enthusiasm entirely. With Dracula as Season 1's villain and leaks showcasing Blade's abilities, many speculate a post-Fantastic Four debut for the Daywalker is highly probable. The abundance of leaked information and confirmed details has the community eagerly anticipating the launch of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls.
