Superliminal, the acclaimed indie puzzle game, is launching on mobile devices this July! Prepare to escape a surreal, recurring dream.
This first-person puzzle adventure, utilizing innovative forced perspective mechanics, arrives on iOS and Android on July 30th. Pre-registration is now open on both app stores.
Originally released on Steam in 2020 to overwhelmingly positive reviews, Superliminal challenges players to solve mind-bending puzzles by manipulating the size and perspective of objects within a dreamlike environment. The mobile version will include controller support.
The story begins with a late-night TV commercial for Dr. Pierce's dream therapy. What starts as a simple viewing quickly transforms into an unexpected journey as you become an unwitting participant in the therapy, trapped in a recurring dream. Guided (somewhat) by Dr. Pierce's voice and his less-than-helpful AI assistant, you'll navigate increasingly complex illusions and puzzles.
Gameplay hinges on exploiting forced perspective. You'll resize objects, creating pathways, removing obstacles, and uncovering hidden exits. Later puzzles introduce trompe-l'œil illusions, requiring precise angles to solve.
Enjoy a 25% launch discount for the first two weeks, after which the game will be priced at $7.99. A free trial is available before committing to the full purchase. For more information, visit Pillow Castle's website or follow them on Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube.
