Imagine revenge tasting like your favorite fruit – pretty satisfying, right? That's the core concept behind Patrones & Escondites' new game, Pineapple: A Bittersweet Revenge.
Launching September 26th on Android, iOS, and PC (Steam page is live, Play Store pre-load pending), this game has already garnered awards for its unique blend of gameplay and narrative.
What is Pineapple: A Bittersweet Revenge?
It's an interactive prank simulator. You're a teenager battling classic school bullies – the "Mean Girls" – but this time, you're fighting back with absurdity…and a whole lot of pineapples!
The gameplay involves strategically placing pineapples in unexpected locations – lockers, bags, you name it – to hilariously and cleverly get back at your tormentors. Beyond the laughs, the game prompts reflection on the blurry line between seeking justice and becoming the very thing you oppose.

Interestingly, the game's concept originated from a Reddit post. While the specifics remain undisclosed, you can find more information on the official Pineapple: A Bittersweet Revenge website.
The game's simple yet charming hand-drawn art style and catchy soundtrack are undeniably appealing, giving off a playful vibe reminiscent of Dork Diaries. Only time will tell if the gameplay lives up to the promise of its art and trailer.
