Does Pity Carry Over in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium? Answered

Sunborn's Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, a free-to-play tactical RPG for PC and mobile, features gacha mechanics. A common question is whether pity counters carry over between banners. The short answer is: yes, for limited banners.

Pity Counter Carryover in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium

Your pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner will transfer to the next limited-time banner. During the global launch, for instance, pulls on either the Suomi or Ullrid banners incremented the pity counter for both. This means you could nearly pity on one banner, then switch to the other and have a 50/50 chance at the featured character. This carryover applies to all future limited banners, as confirmed by Chinese players.

However, this pity system does not extend to standard banners. Progress on a standard banner will not help you get closer to pity on a limited banner, and vice versa.

While hard pity is reached at 80 pulls, soft pity begins at 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances of obtaining one gradually increase until hard pity is reached.

This information should clarify the pity system in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium. For more game guides, including rerolling, tier lists, and mailbox location, check out The Escapist.
