Pokémon Go will host the Wayfarer Challenge in Chile and India, giving you a chance to nominate landmarks as PokéStops and Gyms

Trainers in Chile and India, get ready! Niantic's Wayfarer Challenge is here, giving you a chance to shape your Pokémon Go world and earn exclusive rewards. From March 7th-9th in Chile and March 10th-12th in India, review and approve Wayspot nominations on the Niantic Wayfarer platform. Help add new PokéStops and Gyms while working towards special milestone rewards!

Nominate real-world locations – landmarks, sculptures, street art, and more – to become in-game locations. Reaching community milestones unlocks awesome rewards:

• 5,000 nominations resolved: 20 Ultra Balls, a Star Piece, an Incense, and a Poffin.
• 10,000 nominations resolved: 25 Ultra Balls, two Star Pieces, two Incense, two Poffins, and a Lucky Egg.

To participate, you need a Niantic Wayfarer account, be at least level 37 in Pokémon Go, and complete the Wayfarer Orientation (if new). You must also have recently played in Chile or India, or set your Wayfarer Hometown/Bonus Location accordingly. Review at least 50 nominations to qualify for rewards, and at least one milestone must be reached.

Running concurrently, from March 9th-12th in Chile and India, is the PokéStop Challenge. Explore newly added PokéStops for 3x XP on first-time visits, 3x Stardust from Gifts, and increased Kecleon spawns. Event Field Research offers Eevee encounters, and Timed Research features other exciting Pokémon.
