Preorders are open now, priced at $49.99 (available on Amazon and other retailers). Following the tradition of Hazelight's previous titles, each purchase includes a free Friend's Pass, allowing a friend to join the co-op experience at no extra cost.

How the Friend's Pass Works:
Split Fiction is strictly a co-op experience; single-player mode is not available. Playable via split-screen couch co-op or online co-op (cross-platform compatible). Your friend simply downloads the free "Split Fiction - Friend's Pass" from their preferred digital marketplace on March 6th after receiving an invite from you. Note: the Friend's Pass requires a purchase of the main game by another player.
What is Split Fiction?
Split Fiction is a two-player action-adventure game following two writers—one sci-fi, one fantasy—who are transported into their own fictional worlds. Players collaborate to overcome challenges and solve puzzles in levels inspired by both genres. Expect diverse gameplay, from futuristic motorcycle rides to fantasy shape-shifting. Levels also feature "side stories," offering minigames like sand-fish riding and drone-powered waterskiing.
