Eclipse Glow Games Unveils "Tides of Annihilation," a New Action-Adventure Title

Revealed during Sony's State of Play 2025 event, Tides of Annihilation is a single-player, narrative-focused action-adventure game developed by the Chengdu-based studio, Eclipse Glow Games. The game promises a blend of intense combat, a compelling narrative, and a memorable setting.

The game is set in a modern-day London, dramatically altered by a mystical, otherworldly invasion. Players take on the role of Gwendolyn, humanity's last hope, as she explores London's iconic landmarks. Combat involves summoning spectral Knights of the Round Table to battle enemies inspired by Arthurian mythology, including colossal skyscraper-sized bosses.

Eclipse Glow Games, backed by Tencent, boasts a team of over 100 developers with experience on titles such as Yakuza, For Honor, Assassin's Creed, Persona, and Prince of Persia.

This is just the beginning; we've crafted a world reimagining Arthurian legend, blending courage, loyalty, and heroism within an epic narrative set in a unique London."

Official Synopsis:

Tides of Annihilation is a single-player, story-driven adventure set in a distorted, otherworldly London. As Gwendolyn, the last of humanity, players embark on a quest to solve a mystery that will decide the fate of reality. Players will battle alongside spectral knights, facing hordes of enemies, memorable bosses, and gigantic, vertically-scaled encounters.
