The ID@Xbox Showcase unveiled a new trailer for the eagerly awaited Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault. The game's launch day arrival on Xbox Game Pass was also confirmed, slated for before year's end.
Developed by Digital Sun and published by 11 bit studios, this isometric action-adventure RPG incorporates roguelike elements. Players will expand their humble shop into a thriving business by delving into dungeons, battling formidable creatures, and acquiring rare artifacts.
Digital Sun promises a significant expansion on the original, boasting richer storytelling and refined gameplay. The protagonist, Will, embarks on a quest to find his home dimension within the vast world of Trense. His journey involves reconnecting with old allies, forging new friendships, and collaborating with a mysterious merchant seeking powerful relics to aid Will's return.
The soundtrack is composed by the celebrated Chris Larkin, renowned for his work on Hollow Knight. Expect Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault to launch on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 later this year.
