S-Tier

S Rank units in Tribe Nine

Five characters dominate the S-tier in Tribe Nine, with Tsuruko Semba arguably the best. Her support abilities, including the game-changing Invigorating Surge ultimate, boost the entire party while dealing significant damage. Her fluid movements make her a surprisingly effective damage dealer.

Miu Jujo, a powerful Attacker, excels with her Luminous Crystals, inflicting consistent damage over time. Her high speed allows her to easily evade enemy attacks, solidifying her role as a top-tier damage dealer.

Q, a Tank, boasts impressive Break Ability and potent attacks. His Fighting Will stacks amplify his damage output, making him exceptionally effective when paired with Tsuruko Semba and an Attacker.

Minami Oi, despite being a 2-star unit, provides invaluable healing with her versatile drone. This drone seamlessly transitions between healing and aggressive modes, making her a hybrid DPS unit. While her damage isn't overwhelming, her ranged attacks and ease of use make her accessible to players of all skill levels.

Enoki Yukigaya is another exceptional Attacker, building Heat stacks through combos and counterattacks. Unleashing these stacks results in devastating damage, making her a force to be reckoned with.

A-Tier

Eiji Todoroki is a strong A-tier Attacker with both offensive and defensive capabilities. His Brilliant Me! skill reduces damage taken while My Turn to Shine! is active, making him surprisingly resilient.

Jio Takinogawa provides reliable tanking, taunting enemies and mitigating damage. However, his lower damage output compared to other units places him in the A-tier.

Yo Kuronaka, the protagonist, offers decent utility with a high Break Ability. However, his somewhat awkward moveset and less impressive damage output compared to S-tier units limit his overall effectiveness.

B-Tier

Roku Saigo and Koishi Kohinata represent the B-tier. Roku is a competent Fighter with moderate damage, but lacks exceptional abilities. Koishi, a free starting Healer, is suitable for early game but should be replaced with stronger options as they become available.

Yutaka Gotanda, Tsuki Iroha, and Hyakuichitaro Senju comprise the C-tier. While not completely unusable, their lack of standout abilities makes them less effective in the late game.
