Dead Rails isn't just about reaching the 80km bridge and escaping; it's also about conquering a series of exciting Challenges. This guide outlines all the Dead Rails Challenges to help you track your progress.

What are Challenges in Dead Rails?

The Challenges board is located in the main lobby next to the leaderboards

Challenges are quests offering one-time rewards of Bonds and Challenge Stars. While some are straightforward, others present a greater difficulty. You don't need to manually accept them; they're always active and viewable on the Challenges Board in the main lobby. Currently, Challenge Stars are primarily for showing off your accomplishments.

Complete List of Dead Rails Challenges

Dead Rails currently features nine Challenges of varying difficulty, each rewarding different amounts of Bonds and Challenge Stars.

Tame a Unicorn	Saddle a wild unicorn or find a tamed one.	5 Bonds and 1 Challenge Star
Escape	Travel 80km and successfully lower the bridge.	5 Bonds and 1 Challenge Star
Bounty Hunter	Kill 5 outlaws and turn in their bounties at the sheriff’s office.	5 Bonds and 1 Challenge Star
New Sheriff in Town	Kill 50 outlaws in one game.	15 Bonds and 3 Challenge Stars
Warewolf Hunter	Kill 100 werewolves in one game.	15 Bonds and 3 Challenge Stars
Zombie Hunter	Kill 200 zombies in one game.	15 Bonds and 3 Challenge Stars
Unkillable	Complete a game without any player deaths.	30 Bonds and 9 Challenge Stars
Pacifist	Complete a game without any player killing enemies (Safezone turrets don’t count).	30 Bonds and 9 Challenge Stars
Pony Express	Complete the game without any player using the train.	30 Bonds and 9 Challenge Stars
