This is a versatile portable media player that also functions as a UPnP DLNA Digital Media Renderer (DMR). It offers robust support for various subtitle formats, including SSA/ASS and SUP, ensuring an enhanced viewing experience.

The player supports full-featured SSA/ASS subtitles, allowing users to add and manage their own font files. These subtitles can be dimmed to better suit the high contrast and brightness of HDR and Dolby Vision (DV) playback. Additionally, the font size is adjustable to cater to individual preferences.

Starting from version 5.1, the player also supports subtitles in SUP (Blu-ray) and VobSub (DVD) formats. Subtitles can be embedded within MKV files or loaded separately. Users have the flexibility to select a single subtitle file or utilize a package in Zip/7Z/RAR format during playback.

In addition to subtitles, the player excels in handling HDR/DV content, supports digital audio passthrough, MKV chapter navigation, frame-by-frame stepping, audio track selection and delay adjustments, as well as subtitle selection and time offset capabilities. It also displays frame rates and automatically adjusts refresh rates for optimal viewing.

Successful playback of Dolby Vision content has been confirmed on the NVIDIA Shield TV 2019. The player also offers video rotation on demand and full-screen zooming via pinch gestures.

Originally designed for segmented files, the player supports playback of files in m3u8 (HLS media list) format, which traditionally used TS files but now also supports mp4 and flv files.

Key updates in version 4.3.1 include fixes for subtitles auto-selection, the first chapter 0:00 issue, and improved system adaptation.

Users can now set a default language for subtitles within the selection box. Additionally, it's possible to select a subtitle file directly from the Storage Access Framework (SAF) content page, which can be sourced from local storage, Samba/Windows sharing, or WebDAV clients—depending on the SAF content provider apps in use.

Efforts have been made to address a DMR service crash bug, enhancing the overall stability of the player.
