I think it's undeniable that mobile gaming is a fast-paced, ever-changing industry. Aside from a few notable exceptions like Subway Surfers or Candy Crush, what was once highly popular or a standout title can fade into obscurity. However, occasionally these standout titles make a return, such as with Clay Jam Classic, as we now have a release date set for March 27th!

The best way to describe Clay Jam Classic is as a mix of an endless runner and Feeding Frenzy style 'eat 'em up'. You play as a simple pebble rolling downhill, running over evil monsters to grow stronger and larger, all in the hope of defeating the massive Bully Beast waiting at the bottom of each hill.

And, if you hadn't already noticed, Clay Jam Classic is also presented in that most iconic British animation technique known as claymation. All the monsters are made in true, hand-crafted fashion, which has been preserved for this re-release.

Back in 2012, Clay Jam Classic was quite popular (including in our own review), with 10 million downloads and even a BAFTA. So I'm sure many of you were disappointed to see it gradually disappear from app stores.

Fortunately, this re-release on March 27th makes Clay Jam Classic compatible with modern devices and app stores, while also removing all in-app purchases and ads, making Clay Jam Classic fully offline and premium!

I'm just glad to see that, more than a decade later, it's not too late for an old favorite to make a comeback. So, if you've ever wanted to take a trip back to your childhood or perhaps young adulthood to experience a true mobile classic, then Clay Jam Classic is for you!
