Getting Started: Create a New Note

Creating a new note is simple: tap the "+" icon in the bottom-right corner of the main screen. Newly created notes use the ".sdocx" extension.

Enhanced Security: Protecting Your Notes

Keep your notes secure with Samsung Notes' robust locking features:

1. Access the main screen's "More Options" (top-right), then go to "Settings" and choose "Lock Note." Select your preferred locking method and set a password.
2. Alternatively, lock individual notes by tapping "More Options" on the specific note and selecting "Lock Note."

Express Yourself: Handwriting, Photos, and Voice Recordings

Samsung Notes offers a variety of creative tools:

• Handwriting: Capture your thoughts naturally with the Handwriting icon.
• Photos: Easily add, edit, and tag photos directly within your notes.
• Voice Recordings: Record audio to add another layer of detail to your notes.

Customize Your Writing Experience: Versatile Writing Tools

Choose from a wide array of pens, pencils, highlighters, and more, with customizable colors and thicknesses. The Eraser tool allows for precise content removal.

Import and Sync: Accessing Your Notes

Import existing notes and memos from S Note and Memo using Smart Switch, or sync your notes using your Samsung account for seamless access across devices.

App Permissions: Privacy and Functionality

Samsung Notes requires certain permissions for optimal functionality:

• Storage: Saves and loads document files.

Optional Permissions (Basic functionality remains available without these):

• Photos and videos: Adds images and videos.
• Notifications: Alerts you about shared note invitations and syncing issues.
