The new One UI Home introduces a clean, intuitive screen layout with neatly organized icons, making your Home and Apps screens more enjoyable and functional.

• Full Screen Gestures on the Home Screen: Say goodbye to the traditional navigation buttons at the bottom of your screen. With full screen gestures, you can enjoy a larger, more immersive Home screen and effortlessly switch between apps with simple swipes. Dive into a seamless and expansive user interface.

• Lock Home Screen Layout: After customizing your app icons, you can lock the layout to keep everything in place. This feature prevents accidental additions, repositioning, or removal of icons. To activate, simply go to Home screen settings and turn on Lock Home screen layout.

• Quick Access to App Info and Widget Settings: By touching and holding an app icon or widget, you can instantly access the App info or Widget settings, streamlining your device management without navigating through multiple menus.

To ensure the best service, One UI Home requires the following permissions. Optional permissions are enabled by default but can be adjusted based on your preferences.

• Storage: Allows the app to restore your home screen layout data, ensuring your customizations are preserved.

• Contacts: Used to restore information for contact widgets, keeping your important connections at your fingertips.

If your device runs on a software version lower than Android 6.0, consider updating to configure App permissions effectively. After the software update, you can reset previously allowed permissions through the Apps menu in your device settings.
