Sega a dévoilé de nouvelles images intégrées au moteur du prochain opus de Virtua Fighter, marquant le retour très attendu de la franchise après près de deux décennies. Développé par Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio de Sega, ce nouvel opus promet une nouvelle version du jeu de combat classique.
La dernière version majeure de Virtua Fighter était Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown, un remaster de 2021 (également disponible sur Steam en janvier 2025). Visuels évolutifs : un mélange de réalisme et de style
Les images montrent une rupture avec les polygones hyper-stylisés emblématiques de la franchise, s'orientant vers une esthétique plus réaliste qui mélange des éléments de Tekken 8 et Street Fighter 6.
