The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with both the FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors, providing a convenient way to monitor your glucose levels directly from your smartphone. With the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor, you can enjoy the added benefits of automatic glucose readings updated every minute, as well as timely alarms for low or high blood sugar levels.

Using the FreeStyle LibreLink app, you can:

• View your current glucose result, trend arrow, and glucose history
• Receive low or high glucose alarms when using FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors
• Access reports showing time spent in target range and daily trends
• Share your data with your doctor and family, with your consent

Using Your App and Reader with the Same Sensor

When using the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor, alarms can be set to notify either on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or your smartphone, but not both simultaneously. To receive alarms on your phone, you must start the sensor using the app. Conversely, to receive alarms on the reader, start the sensor with the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader. Once started with the reader, you can still scan the sensor with your phone.

Please note that the app and reader do not share data with each other. To ensure comprehensive data collection, scan your sensor every 8 hours with the device you are using. Without regular scanning, your reports may not reflect all data. You can upload and view data from all your devices on LibreView.com.
