To enjoy the vibrant and engaging quiz game, Knowledge is Power: Decades, on your PlayStation®4, you'll need the companion app. As of the important announcement on December 14, 2023, regarding PlayLink games like Knowledge is Power: Decades, there have been changes to the availability of companion apps:

For Android users, if you've already downloaded the companion app for Knowledge is Power: Decades to your current device or it's in your library, you can continue playing the game. However, the app is no longer available for download on the Google Play Store for devices running Android OS versions newer than Android 11.

Apple iOS users, on the other hand, can continue to use the companion app regardless of their iOS version.

Dive into a high-energy quiz experience with Knowledge is Power: Decades, challenging your friends and family on the PlayStation®4 system. This game tests your trivia knowledge across the '80s, '90s, '00s, and '10s. By using your smartphone as a controller, you can join up to five other players in a race to answer questions first, strategically use Power Plays to gain an edge, and engage in touch screen Challenges. Who will be the first to conquer the Pyramid of Knowledge?

Ensure your PlayStation®4 system is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your mobile device. Follow the in-app instructions to connect and start playing. With the app, you can:

• Pick your character and add a personal touch with fun selfie filters.
• Answer quiz questions privately, keeping your choices hidden from other players.
• Select Power Plays to slow down your rivals and increase your chances of winning.
• Engage in six touch screen Challenges using taps, swipes, drags, and more.
• Play 'Quiz Blast' and challenge friends to beat your time on the go, away from your PlayStation®4 system.

The app supports multiple languages including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Greek, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Arabic.
