App Permissions & Purposes:

• Notifications (Required): Receive updates on remote control actions and real-time vehicle status.
• Telephone (Required): Verify user identity, contact customer support, and facilitate location-based service connections.
• Bluetooth (Optional): Enable short-range remote control via digital key.
• Location (Optional): Confirm parking location, transmit destinations, and provide route guidance. Also used for digital key short-range remote control.
• Storage (Required): Access and download videos from your vehicle's built-in camera.
• Camera (Optional): Set profile pictures, utilize the digital photo frame, register vehicles via QR code, and use AR parking guidance.
• Files and Media (Optional): Manage profile pictures and digital photo frames.

Smartwatch Compatibility (Wear OS):

Enhance your Genesis experience with Wear OS 3.0 or higher. Access remote vehicle control and vehicle status management directly from your smartwatch. Enjoy simplified access through custom watch faces and complications. Requires linking to the mobile MY GENESIS app.

Important Note: Signing up for MY GENESIS will deactivate previously issued digital keys, restricting access to older digital key applications to ensure optimal functionality.
