Adventure Time #5 Makes Ideal Oni Press Entry Point

Oni Press has recently secured the rights to the Adventure Time franchise and is already rolling out new comic adventures starring Finn, Jake, and their friends. The publisher is launching the series' next major story arc, "Friends to the End," with a monthly release schedule, and IGN has an exclusive preview of the cover art for issue #5.

Adventure Time #5 is written by Nick Winn (of Silver Sprocket's Bloody Mary) with art by Kenzie Bugg (from Adult Swim's Tuca and Bertie). Both creators have also contributed covers for this issue, alongside Shelli Paroline, Braden Lamb, and Agustin Morales. Issue #5 also features a backup story by Derek Ballard, a writer and storyboard artist from the Adventure Time animated series.
