AFK Journey's New Season: Echoes of Dissent Launches Underground Adventure

As the weather heats up, you might find yourself wishing to escape the scorching sun by ducking underground. In AFK Journey's latest season, Echoes of Dissent, you can do just that—but be prepared for challenges just as intense as those on the surface.

Echoes of Dissent plunges Merlin into the heart of Brimstone Village to probe simmering tensions. The situation escalates rapidly, with the underground elvish kingdom of Sal'Thorin facing a dire crisis. The kingdom's vital divine dew is dwindling, and without it, its inhabitants are slowly transforming into monstrous beings.

To aid you in this subterranean adventure, two new heroes join the fray. Zanie, a dwarvish inventor with a talent for crafting mechanical allies, and Indris, the captain of the Sal'Thorin Guard, whose doubts might align him with Merlin and their allies.

Dwarves are natural sprinters, very dangerous over short distancesWhile those hoping for a dwarf-centric experience might lament the presence of elves, the content packed into this update is undeniable. In addition to Zanie and Indris, the season introduces Valara, Daimon, and Kulu, each adding a vibrant spark to your team.

A highlight of the season is the 1v1 elimination tournament, Sunlit Showdown. Here, you'll enter the battlefield without carryover progression to test your heroes' prowess across three difficulty tiers. Compete through six rounds for a chance to claim valuable loot, keeping even the most seasoned players on their toes.
