Sword of Convallaria Marks First Year with New Characters, Events

One year post-launch, Sword of Convallaria has rolled out a major anniversary update, delivering fresh content and a conclusion to a storyline that has developed over twelve months. For players who have followed the events in Iria, this update offers the gripping finale to the ongoing narrative.

The Kingdom of Iria plot has expanded across more than 120 hours of single-player adventure. This anniversary release introduces two brand-new gameplay modes.

What the update includes

Pioneering Odyssey arrives as a two-part mode emphasizing squad formation and unlocking advanced Ascension talents. Expedition mode, in contrast, adopts an exploratory approach. It enables you to dispatch specialized teams into the Spiral to collect Origin Gems, which can be exchanged for rare heroes and premium equipment.

Additionally, starting August 1st, a new character joins the fray: Inanna of Convallaria. She headlines the 1st Anniversary summon event and is accompanied by a guaranteed Legendary banner that provides an unowned top-tier character with every 10-pull. Later in August, Rico will be featured in her own summon banner.

Players will experience the true ending of the central story arc, named For This World of Peace. Set in Radiant Calendar 992, seven years following the War of Independence, the narrative centers on Waverun City—Iria’s busiest port—where commerce thrives but prosperity comes with hidden conflicts.

Illicit Luxite smuggling persists beneath the surface, and diplomatic strains between allied nations are escalating. The situation intensifies when a Blood Luxite incident forces Mobile Squad operatives Rawiyah and Safiyyah into an unprecedented confrontation.
