Battlecruisers Is Celebrating Its 4th Anniversary with a Trans Edition Update

Battlecruisers is celebrating its fourth anniversary with a massive update: the "Trans Edition"! Mecha Weka has packed this update with a wealth of new single-player and multiplayer content, making it the biggest update yet.

What's New in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?

Get ready for action! Three brand-new cruisers—Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith—are joining the fight. Two new buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, and two new units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter, are also available. Existing cruisers receive a stylish upgrade with three new bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler.

PvP battles have been enhanced with a countdown timer at the start, and aircraft trails now dynamically match player colors. Skirmishes now include Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime as selectable cruisers. Significant balancing changes have been implemented, impacting various ships and weapons. For example, the Raptor's shield recharge rate has been increased from 3x to 5x, the Hammerhead's health boosted from 4000 to 4200, and the ShipTurret's damage increased to 60 (though its range has been reduced to 16).

Immersion is heightened with visually improved underwater transparency, allowing players to fully appreciate the wreckage of defeated foes. The ocean itself has been enhanced with new shading effects, further improving the visual fidelity of ship and cruiser destruction.

Since its 2021 launch, Battlecruisers has consistently delivered major annual updates. This year's Trans Edition expands the adventure with additional side quests and introduces a mysterious Battlefortress hidden somewhere in the South Pacific.
