What Can You Do After Completing Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

In short, almost everything you could do before! Assassin’s Creed Shadows' vast open world is packed with side content that remains accessible after finishing the main quest. Explore feudal Japan to your heart's content!

Post-launch, weekly challenges added via the Animus will provide ongoing activities, even after achieving 100% completion.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Epilogue and Endgame Explained

The story isn't quite over after the credits roll. In my playthrough, the credits appeared after completing the Shinbakufu Objective Board and Yasuke and Naoe's main quests; however, the Act 3 and Epilogue trophies remained unclaimed. To unlock the true ending and epilogue, complete Naoe, Yasuke, and Junjiro's personal stories. Afterwards, return to the Hideout and speak with Tomiko. This will trigger the complete ending and associated achievements.

Unique Assassin-themed gear for Naoe and Templar gear for Yasuke are obtainable near the game's conclusion. These armor sets offer perks enhancing each protagonist's playstyle and boast designs appealing to veteran Assassin's Creed fans.

Endgame content allows progression beyond the credits to the game's maximum level cap.

What's Next for Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

While the main story concludes at launch, future content is planned. The Animus will receive updates with new content, and the in-game store will likely be refreshed with new items. A story expansion, "Claws of Awaji," is slated for later in 2025, adding over 10 hours of gameplay on the Island of Awaji.
