Early in your Atelier Yumia adventure, you'll unlock the ability to set up camp and chat with your companions. However, figuring out where and when to build one can be tricky. This guide clarifies the process.

How to Craft a Camping Set in Atelier Yumia

You unlock the ability to craft Camping Sets via Simple Synthesis after completing the Dux Lighthouse manabound area. This is Yumia's first manabound challenge. After establishing a base on the newly accessible land, return to the Ligneus Survey Base and speak with Erhard to unlock camping.

Crafting a Camping Set requires:

• 5% Energy
• 3 Wood
• 2 Water
• 5 Fiber
• 2 Charcoal

These materials are readily available near the Ligneus Survey Base. Water can be collected from wells or by harvesting plants near rivers (which also yield fiber), and Charcoal is a byproduct of mining ore.

Once you have the materials, open the Simple Synthesis menu. Ensure you have a 4x4 crafting space available; otherwise, the Camping Set will be sent to your Atelier or base storage.

Where to Camp in Atelier Yumia

With your Camping Set, you can camp in any open area. Narrow cliffs and dense forests are unsuitable; you need a relatively open space. Many potential campsites exist, including the River Campsite near the Ligneus Survey Base.

If a Camping Set is in your Exploration Bag, the radial menu will indicate whether camping is possible. A highlighted Camping option (bottom right) means you can camp; a greyed-out option means you cannot.

What to Do While Camping in Atelier Yumia

Camping is crucial for cooking gathered food. Resting before challenging bosses or entering manabound areas, especially on higher difficulties, is highly recommended.
