Capcom Unveils Street Fighter 6 Year 3 Lineup

Capcom has officially unveiled the Year 3 lineup of downloadable content (DLC) characters for Street Fighter 6, giving fans a fresh wave of iconic and unexpected fighters to look forward to. The announcement came during Summer Game Fest 2025, where the publisher revealed the release schedule and new character designs.

The roster includes four fan-favorite additions:

• Sagat – Available this summer
• C. Viper – Arriving this fall
• Alex – Coming in early spring 2026
• Ingrid – Scheduled for late spring 2026

The DLC reveal was showcased through an exciting trailer featuring acclaimed pro wrestler Kenny Omega, who suited up as each of the upcoming characters. The video also displayed newly updated artwork for each fighter and offered a sneak peek at Sagat’s gameplay. In classic form, he demonstrates his signature moves—Tiger Shot, Tiger Uppercut, and Tiger Knee—going head-to-head with series staple Ryu. Additionally, the trailer revisits Sagat’s reimagined version of his iconic Street Fighter 2 Thailand stage.

Among the announced fighters, Ingrid stands out as a surprising yet welcome addition. While longtime fans may recognize her from Capcom Fighting Evolution (2004) and Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX (2006), she remains one of the more obscure names in the franchise. Her inclusion marks a bold move by Capcom to bring deeper cuts into the spotlight.

With this latest DLC drop, Street Fighter 6 continues to expand its diverse and dynamic roster, offering something for both nostalgic players and newcomers alike.
