Chants of Sennaar has arrived on mobile platforms, developed by Rundisc and published by Playdigious. Drawing inspiration from games like Heaven's Vault and Captain Blood, the title first launched in September 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The game presents a modern retelling of the Babel myth through intricate puzzles and cultural exploration. Cracking Linguistic Mysteries

Players assume the role of the Traveler, awakening at the base of a massive ziggurat where language serves as both barrier and solution. Each level of the spiraling tower houses distinct cultures with unique languages waiting to be deciphered.

The gameplay revolves around careful observation, documentation, and interpretation. As players progress, they'll compile notes symbol by symbol, slowly unlocking communication bridges between the tower's divided inhabitants.

Striking Visuals and Sound Design

The game's aesthetic draws heavily from Moebius and Franco-Belgian comics, with each tower level showcasing distinctive architectural and cultural styles. Complementing the visuals is an immersive soundtrack by composer Thomas Brunet.

Mobile Adaptations and Availability

The mobile version introduces quality-of-life improvements including cloud save functionality and adjustable FPS settings. Players can experience a free trial before unlocking the full game, currently offered at a 10% launch discount until September 2nd.
