Crashlands 2 has just received a significant update with version 1.1, courtesy of Butterscotch Shenanigans. This update brings back fan-favorite features from the original Crashlands and introduces exciting new challenges, making it a must-play for both new and returning players.
The update introduces Legend Mode, a new level of difficulty surpassing the existing Challenge Mode. In Legend Mode, enemies on Woanope are faster, deal more damage, and have increased health, making the gameplay even more intense. Conversely, Flux Dabes is now more fragile. While there are no specific achievements for completing Legend Mode, successfully beating it will automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulties.
For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, Explorer Mode has been added. This mode significantly reduces combat intensity, allowing players to focus on farming mushrooms, building charming homes, and fishing in peace. It's perfect for players who want to immerse themselves in the game's story, decorate their base, and interact with the quirky characters of Crashlands 2.
One of the most requested features, The Compendium, makes a triumphant return. This tool meticulously tracks all discoveries made by Flux, including the number of pets, recipes, and items yet to be collected, helping players to achieve their in-game goals.
With Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 are now more involved in combat, actively assisting players during fights. Each pet now comes equipped with a unique ability that can be activated every 20 seconds, adding a new layer of strategy to the gameplay.
Gear crafting has seen an upgrade as well, with the introduction of random bonus stats on armor, increasing variety and player choice. New gadgets, weapons, and trinkets have been added, expanding the arsenal available to players.
Quality of life improvements are abundant in this update. Players can now build on a wider variety of terrain, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the darkness levels at night, enhancing the overall gaming experience.
Crashlands 2 is available for download on the Google Play Store. It was launched on April 10th, and this patch demonstrates Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to listening and responding to player feedback.
