Crunchyroll Launches "White Day: A Labyrinth Named School" Globally

Crunchyroll continues to expand its Android Game Vault with the addition of *White Day: A Labyrinth Named School*, a survival horror experience that has built a cult following since its original release in 2001 as a South Korean PC title. The mobile remake, initially launched in November 2015 in South Korea under the name *White Day: The School* globally, brings the eerie atmosphere and psychological tension of the original to modern smartphones.

Developed by ROI Games (also known as Sonnori) and Gachyon Soft for mobile platforms, *White Day: A Labyrinth Named School* immerses players in a chilling narrative set inside Yeondu High School. You take on the role of Hee-Min Lee, a new student who sneaks into the school one night to leave a gift for his crush. However, what begins as a romantic gesture quickly descends into terror when the building locks down and supernatural forces awaken.

A True Survival Horror Experience

Unlike many modern horror titles that rely heavily on combat or jump scares, *White Day: A Labyrinth Named School* leans into psychological fear, isolation, and environmental storytelling. Players are equipped only with a limited amount of flashlight batteries and must navigate pitch-black hallways filled with unsettling sounds, ghostly apparitions, and a deranged janitor who stalks you relentlessly.

The game emphasizes puzzle-solving and exploration, with solutions changing each time you play—making it impossible to rely on memorization or walkthroughs. Your choices also matter, as you encounter other trapped students whose fates rest in your hands. Every decision influences the story’s direction and ultimately determines which of the nine possible endings you’ll unlock.

Gameplay & Accessibility

The game features intuitive touch controls optimized for mobile play, and also supports Bluetooth controllers for an enhanced experience. If you're a Crunchyroll subscriber, you can download *White Day: A Labyrinth Named School* directly from the Google Play Store at no additional cost.
