Discover the groundbreaking infinite damage build in Diablo 4 that's causing server lag. Dive into how this build functions and explore the community's reactions to the recent Berserk collaboration.
Diablo 4's latest season introduces new seasonal boss powers, which, when combined correctly, can create an infinite damage build that significantly impacts server performance. On May 9, YouTuber Macrobioboi demonstrated this powerful setup, effectively clearing rooms full of enemies with the right combination of boss powers and the Legendary Aspect.
To replicate this build, players must equip the Vampiric Curse Legendary Aspect, which inflicts a permanent Vulnerable status on enemies, boosting damage output.
Additionally, utilizing the Flesh Reaper's Disruption boss power, which typically removes the Vulnerable status after stunning, does not counteract the Vampiric Curse's effect, resulting in continuous stunning. Completing the setup with Varshan's Life Steal boss power amplifies damage every time a boss power is triggered.
The sheer number of calculations required to process this build overwhelms the game's servers, causing noticeable lag. As seen in wudijo’s YouTube video, the screen is flooded with numerous skills and abilities, leaving enemies perpetually stunned. Wudijo commented, "There are a lot of calculations going on, it's very understandable that this is a laggy build."
Blizzard Entertainment has yet to address this high-resource build, allowing players to continue exploiting it to defeat hordes of enemies at the cost of game performance.
Diablo 4's collaboration with the iconic manga Berserk introduces a range of themed cosmetics and items. However, fans are expressing concerns over the steep prices of these offerings.
Players can earn Behelits in-game, which can be used to unlock free cosmetics from the Berserk Reliquary, including:
● Hawks Destiny Back Trophy
● Skull Knight’s Heraldry Mount Armor
● Brand of Sacrifice Marking
● Foretold Eclipse Headstone
● Od of the Berserker Emblem
The premium sets, available for purchase with Diablo 4’s premium currency, Platinum, are where the collaboration truly shines, featuring iconic armors and sets from Berserk:
● The Berserker Armor, Barbarian - 2,800 Platinum
● The Hawk of Light, Rogue - 2,800 Platinum
● The Struggler, Rogue - 2,800 Platinum
● The Skull Knight, Necromancer - 2,800 Platinum
● The Schnoz, Pet Bundle - 2,800 Platinum
● Warhorse of the Hawk, Mount and Mount Armor - 2,500 Platinum
Each premium skin costs around $28, which is nearly half the price of the base game. Purchasing all items would set players back $150 or require a 15,000 Platinum bundle with an additional 3,500 Platinum.
While the pricing aligns with Diablo 4's previous collaboration with World of Warcraft, it raises concerns about the affordability of future crossover events with other IPs. Many fans are hesitant to invest in these high-quality Berserk sets due to their high cost. Diablo IV is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
