Fantasian Neo Dimension: Unlocking the Power of the Tachyon Medal

Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a breathtaking world alongside Leo and his companions, facing the existential threat of Jas's "Zero" plan. The game's captivating story and unique mechanics create an immersive experience as the stakes escalate. A key element of this late-game experience is the Tachyon Medal, integral to a challenging and extensive side quest. This guide details how to obtain and utilize this crucial item.

Locating the Tachyon Medal

The Tachyon Medal's existence is first hinted at in Shangri-La, emerging as the final item acquired before the final showdown. To obtain it, progress through the main storyline until you reach Sanctum within the God Realm, accessible via the Communication Network. Within the Mirror of Order, you'll confront God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. This boss frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack, draining 90% of your health. Prepare Kina for crucial healing and consider equipping Petrification Null gear to ease the battle.

Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves effective against summoned enemies. Cherryl, with her potent Concentrate and Charge abilities, also makes a valuable addition to your party.

After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. Amidst the scattered debris on your right, you'll discover a chest containing the coveted Tachyon Medal.

Utilizing the Tachyon Medal

Activating the Tachyon Medal requires completing two objectives. First, reach the Altar in Shangri-La. Second, conquer the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. These elusive stars appear across eight locations, with the initial two encounters integrated into the main storyline:

  1. En New District
  2. Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
  3. Royal Capital - Main Street
  4. Frozen Tundra - Center
  5. Hidden Valley – Duet Path
  6. Ancient Hill – River
  7. Nameless Island – Depths
  8. Shangri-La – Fallen City

Defeat these bosses sequentially. After the final victory in Shangri-La, three chests will become accessible beneath the Altar. One of these chests holds the Holy Belt, granting All Ailment Null.

Once all chests are opened, a glowing door will appear, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to rewind time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point, carrying over levels, items, and equipment. While enemies gain increased strength and health, this shouldn't deter players who have completed all side quests. Successfully using the Tachyon Medal unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to restart your adventure to safeguard the Human Realm.
