Reports suggest turmoil at BioWare, with conflicting narratives surrounding Dragon Age: The Veilguard and the studio's future. Online speculation, fueled by unnamed sources, initially claimed both the closure of BioWare Edmonton and the departure of The Veilguard's game director.

Eurogamer, however, confirms only part of this: Corinne Boucher, a veteran EA employee with an extensive history at the company (including significant contributions to The Sims), will be leaving BioWare in the coming weeks. The rumors regarding BioWare Edmonton's closure remain unconfirmed and purely speculative, according to Eurogamer.
