Final Fantasy VII x Boba Bear Marks 2nd Anniversary

Square Enix has announced an exciting collaboration marking FFVII Ever Crisis' second anniversary: Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis x Boba Bear Pop-Up. Fans can enjoy both physical and digital experiences throughout this special event.

Bubble Tea Meets Midgar: Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis x Boba Bear Collaboration

The partnership with Los Angeles' Koreatown boba spot Boba Bear will transform their 414 S. Western Ave #C location into a real-world Seventh Heaven Bar from September 22 to December 31, 2025. The venue will fully embrace Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis aesthetics.

The pop-up will faithfully recreate the game's iconic bar atmosphere, serving character-inspired beverages alongside interactive mini-games, photo spots, and other engaging activities mirroring in-game elements.

Prior to the public opening, Square Enix will host an exclusive anniversary preview event at Boba Bear on September 7 from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Attendees at the preview celebration will enjoy early access to the immersive installation, meet Square Enix community representatives, and sample signature drinks based on the game's beloved characters.

How to Experience the Event

Early access registration begins now through the official forums until August 24. Only 25 lucky winners plus guests will secure invitations to the intimate September 7 afternoon session (2:00 PM - 5:00 PM), which includes complimentary entry and a themed beverage.

Selected participants will receive formal notifications from Square Enix Customer Support around August 28. Those not chosen can still reserve spots when general registration opens on August 30 via BobaBear.

Following the September 22 public launch, walk-ins will be welcome though reservations remain strongly suggested for this limited-run experience continuing through December 2025.

This collaboration continues Boba Bear's tradition of successful anime and gaming crossovers, having previously hosted popular events featuring One Piece, Naruto, Arcane: League of Legends, and Demon Slayer.
