Indie developer Mūn Mūn Games has unveiled Out Fishing, a deceptive first-person fishing simulator that appears tranquil at first glance. The title evokes relaxation, and daytime gameplay delivers just that—until night falls, transforming the experience into psychological horror. Currently in development for PC.
The studio pitches the game as: "Navigate eerie wilderness where serenity borders on unease. Hunt elusive fish while uncovering fragments of forgotten history. Against the clock, each discovery brings you nearer to chilling revelations. Trade catches for better equipment, fortify your camp—this fleeting sanctuary where reality fractures."

The game's dynamic weather system alters fishing conditions unpredictably across its day-night cycle. Players enhance their arsenal from basic rods to vehicles, while managing a vulnerable homestead. For deeper immersion, watch the debut trailer above revealing Out Fishing's dual nature.
Dare to "catch what shouldn't exist." Steam wishlisting is now available.
