Kyrylo Burlaka, an independent game developer, has unveiled Fracture Point, a fast-paced roguelike first-person shooter. Set in a realistic dystopian metropolis embroiled in a war between a powerful corporation and the resistance, the game features procedurally generated levels and looter shooter mechanics.
As you ascend the corporation's skyscraper, you'll scavenge for gear and loot to upgrade your character. Floor by floor, you'll battle mercenaries, confront security forces, and face challenging bosses. Watch the announcement trailer above and view the first screenshots in the gallery below.

Fracture Point evokes memories of Criterion's classic PS2-era shooter, Black. This comparison isn't unfounded; Burlaka himself acknowledges Criterion's influence on his formative gaming years, stating, "Criterion's games were a big part of my gaming experience growing up."
To follow Fracture Point's development and be among the first to play, wishlist it on Steam.
