Freedom Wars Remastered: How To Use The Cell Garden

Quick Links

Early in Freedom Wars Remastered, accessing the Cell Garden becomes crucial for the main storyline and later, for efficient resource gathering. This safe haven offers a more controlled environment compared to the dangers of standard operations. While multiple Cell Gardens exist, their discovery follows a consistent pattern regardless of your game progression. This guide details their location and resource farming mechanics.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances in Freedom Wars Remastered

Mattias's request to investigate a ghost girl story initiates your search for the Cell Garden. Begin in Level 2's main cell block (2-A000). Locate a small, elevator-like room in the left corner. Interacting with this room transports you to 2-E165 (Enzo's location).

From 2-E165, follow the right-hand wall to another small room containing a device leading to 2-G100. Repeat this process; the far room in 2-G100 houses the device that finally unlocks the Cell Garden.

This access method remains consistent across all levels. Unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement significantly reduces travel time. Post-main quest completion, access to any Cell Garden is unrestricted, though acquiring the Quick-Travel Entitlement is highly recommended. Each device leading to the next area or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon.

How the Cell Garden Functions in Freedom Wars Remastered

The initial Cell Garden story mission differs from subsequent uses. Here's the standard Cell Garden experience:

  • A one-minute time limit applies before expulsion.
  • The room's layout is randomized each visit.
  • Eight resource orbs (small green spheres) are scattered throughout the room.

To extend your Cell Garden time, purchase Entitlements from the Liberty Window. Some layouts present puzzles, making longer access times advantageous. The first upgrade, granting a two-minute limit, becomes available at CODE level 3.
