Gears of War is officially coming to PlayStation — yes, you read that right. Gears of War: Reloaded is a remastered version of the original 2006 title, now featuring stunning 4K resolution, up to 120 FPS in multiplayer, and full cross-play support. The game is currently available for preorder in physical format exclusively for PS5. While there won't be a physical Xbox version, digital copies are available for both Xbox and PS5, and we’ve listed all the details below.
Both the physical PS5 edition and the digital versions for PS5 and Xbox are priced at $39.99 and set for release on August 26 this year. Be sure to grab your copy early to avoid missing out.

If you're looking for a physical copy of Gears of War: Reloaded, make sure you own a PS5 — no physical Xbox version is currently available for preorder. Should that change, we’ll update this section accordingly.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate – 1 Month Membership
Gears of War: Reloaded will also launch on Xbox Game Pass. If you’re not yet subscribed, you can try out the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership with a one-month trial when the game releases.
Owners of the digital version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, purchased before the announcement of Reloaded, will receive the remaster as a free upgrade. This is a nice perk for longtime fans who have been with the series from the start.
By preordering the PS5 physical edition of Gears of War: Reloaded, players will unlock two exclusive multiplayer skins: Adam Fenix and Anya Stroud.
