FromSoftware games are notoriously difficult, as evidenced by Kai Cenat's numerous attempts at conquering Elden Ring. This makes the accomplishments of players who undertake extra challenges even more remarkable.
Streamer Dinossindgeil has achieved a groundbreaking feat: the world's first completion of God Run 3 SL1. This brutal challenge demands finishing seven consecutive FromSoftware games without leveling up or sustaining a single point of damage. The player dedicated nearly two years to this monumental undertaking. His emotional reaction upon defeating the final boss, Soul of Cinder in Dark Souls III, was a testament to the grueling journey.
The God Run 3 SL1 challenge is widely regarded as the most difficult in the FromSoftware community. The rules are unforgiving: seven games, no leveling, zero damage. A single hit necessitates restarting the entire run from the beginning, regardless of progress.
Dinossindgeil's dedication involved countless attempts. A particularly disheartening setback occurred in the summer of 2024, when a Dark Souls II bug (an arrow clipping through a wall) ended a run after already completing Elden Ring and Dark Souls I. He was forced to start anew.
FromSoftware's response to this incredible achievement will be eagerly awaited. Undeniably, Dinossindgeil has cemented his place in gaming history.
