Infinix has unveiled the GT 30 Pro, a new gaming phone designed for those seeking robust performance without breaking the bank. Let's dive into the specifics of this exciting new device.
The GT 30 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate, a capable chip that delivers solid gaming performance. It features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution, reaching up to 1,600 nits of brightness. For added durability, the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, and it includes an in-display fingerprint sensor alongside a 13MP front camera.
To enhance gaming, Infinix has incorporated shoulder triggers into the GT 30 Pro. These are low-latency capacitive triggers that support remapping, making them ideal for games requiring quick reflexes.
The device offers up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. On the back, you'll find a 108MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The battery capacity varies by region, with most models featuring a 5,500mAh battery, while some have a slightly smaller 5,200mAh version.
Charging options include 45W wired and 30W wireless capabilities, with bypass charging to minimize heat during extended gaming sessions. The GT 30 Pro runs on XOS 15, based on Android 15, and includes AI tools powered by DeepSeek R1. It's also IP64-rated, ensuring resistance to dust and light splashes.
The phone's aesthetic is highlighted by its Cyber Mecha Design 2.0, featuring sharp lines and RGB lighting on the back. It's available in three colors: Blade White, Shadow Ash, and Dark Flare. Check out the promotional video to see it in action.
Infinix has also introduced the MagCharge Cooler, a magnetic fan accessory that attaches to the back of the phone, boosting cooling efficiency by about 30 percent.
While the real-world performance of the GT 30 Pro remains to be seen, its pricing is quite competitive. In the USA, the model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is expected to retail at $489, with the 512GB storage version priced at $529.
